The sources of Spa

There are seven sources of Spa still accessible to the public. In these springs one can still taste the strongly ferrous water right from the spring. The different sources are scattered around the city centre. There is the Peter the Great spring, which has besides the place where the spring rises also a beautiful winter garden. In this winter garden you can see through painted portraits which famous historical figures have visited the caves over the centuries. All sources have their own beautiful buildings and their own characteristic appearance. Besides that it is beautiful and fun to visit the springs, you can of course taste the healing water directly from the spring.


Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps

The Spa-Francorchamps circuit is considered by many drivers to be the most beautiful circuit in the world. It is still an authentic and old race track that follows the natural slopes of the landscape. Caves of Remouchamps

Be surprised by the beautiful underground wealth in the Caves of Remouchamps. Thousands of years of erosion have all created incredible and magical spaces. After exploring the Remouchamps Caves on foot, you will return to the starting point by boat. As such you will experience the longest underground boat trip in the world.

Banneux

Nearby is the famous Maria pilgrimage site Banneux, which is visited annually by some 700,000 pilgrims. Especially the source to which a medicinal effect is attributed is very popular. Activities are also organised for children and young people.

Castle of Franchimont

Built in the 16th century on a rocky outcrop dominating the Hoegne valley, Franchimont castle, the residence of the Prince Bishop of Liège, has impressive ruins that are worth a visit. The most spectacular is the whole of the bunkers with the underground stairs.

Monde Sauvage

Come and discover the magic of the Safari Park Monde Sauvage in Aywaille near Spa. Attend the shows of parrots, sea lions and birds of prey. With a train or your own vehicle, you can cross the African safari area and observe many species that live in half freedom, such as elephants, hippos, rhinos, dromedaries, buffalos and giraffes.
